Fiona McKay is the award-winning founder and CEO of Lightbulb Leadership Solutions. She is the Winner of The Women’s Business Club Speaker of The Year Award and has been recognised by SheerLuxe Magazine as ‘One Of The 12 Most Influential Women In Business Today’. She has been voted one of the top 250 global influencers in FemTech alongside Oprah Winfrey, Chelsea Clinton & Whitney Wolfe-Herd.
Fiona had a clear vision and unique methodology that came to life in 2007, as Lightbulb started to switch on solutions for the world’s biggest brands and best organisations.
She brings a realism and dynamism to consultancy and value creation which few can match, and her sector specialisms include, Investment, FemTech, Finance & Banking, Media, Recruitment, Hospitality and Retail.
In a results-driven world, she has won international recognition as a stand-out business and organisational strategist, advisor, influencer and growth partner, as well as leading the expansion of Lightbulb into North America, APAC & & EMEA. She is a sought after specialist in gender acceleration and human capital in value creation for impact funds and their mid-market portfolio companies and she heads our Private Equity Team.
Fiona speaks on the world’s big stages, is an in-demand keynote and motivational speaker and has gained extensive recognition for her research and findings in gender and menopause biased feedback entitled ‘Why Feedback Holds Women Back’ and is the author of the ground-breaking report on ‘What Would The World Look Like If More Women Controlled The Money?’
She is the founder of our group company The Menopause Maze™ which equips impact and inclusive driven companies with evidence based transition tools so women can maintain their careers and workplaces can retain their top talent through all stages of menopause.
Fiona is an honorary graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University’s Business School (MMUBS) and the winner of the Innospace Business Award for Entrepreneurship. She has held an academic position as an Associate Entrepreneur in Residence lecturing on Business in under-graduate programmes at MMUBS.
