Making menopause matter - officially!

Our formidable founder, Fiona McKay made history on Friday. It was a proud moment for us to see her activism change legislation for women to make menopause matter.

Along with other campaigners and celebrities including Dr Louise Newson, Penny Lancaster, Mariella Frostrup and Davina McCall, Fiona joined them to support Carolyn Harris MP, who took their fight into Parliament, and won!

Now HRT costs will be significantly reduced for women in England, paying just one prescription charge per year.

But it shouldn't be left to great leaders like James Timpson, CEO at Timpsons, who has offered to pay for his staff's HRT medications.

And organisations need to change if they want to retain their female talent and equip their managers with the tools they need to have new performance and feedback conversations that focuses on female mid-life futures and not just their day to day functions.

Managers need to be shown how our findings on gender biased feedback has a real detrimental affect on women as they transition through menopause and enable them to re-construct feedback, performance and development conversations with an evidence based formula and method that goes way beyond awareness.

Fiona said “it was fantastic to meet other women who came along to speak with me who have gone through our Menopause Maze ™ method and programme and hear the results that they are getting both for themselves and their organisations.”
